Student of the Month: Madalyn Ward

Madalyn Ward is an eighth grade student enrolled at John Boise Middle School. She was the majority winner in a survey sent to JBMS teachers asking for nominations for our student spotlight for the board of education. 

Here are some things teachers said about her when nominating her for this spotlight: 

Mady always has a great attitude and a smile on her face. Madalyn also does an outstanding job with daily announcements and continues to be a leader and positive influence to her peers. 

Mady is a three Sport athlete, stu-co member and on the Student Leadership team. She is an all around amazing young lady.

Mady is a leader at JBMS. She is on the leadership team, student council, volleyball, basketball, and softball teams. She has excellent grades and is an example in the classroom by consistently following expectations.

Mady is always very helpful to other students. She leads by example for her peers and is a great role model for underclassmen.

Mady is a great academic student, she is a leader in the middle school, a 3 sport athlete, has high character, and is a wonderful young lady.

Mady is an outstanding role model at JBMS and consistently demonstrates excellence both in and out of the classroom. She is a strong student academically and balances everything even with active involvement in multiple sports.

In addition, Mady serves on our leadership team, where she is known for her dependability and initiative, when something needs to be done, she can always be counted on to step up. Beyond her academic and extracurricular accomplishments, Mady’s character truly stands out. She is kind, welcoming, and never hesitates to help new students feel comfortable and find their place at JBMS. Mady embodies the qualities we hope to see in all of our students.
