JBMS students in Mrs. Long’s class have been learning about ratios and proportional relationships. To finish the unit, they had fun making slime! They started by making a normal size batch, followed by halving the recipe to practice what they learned. #WildcatExcellence

We are celebrating academic growth in our district! 🎉 According to the Evaluate Assessment that is taken monthly to track students’ understanding of the Missouri Learning Standards, we have seen successful growth in the month of November: ✅12% Growth in Mathematics (this includes significant growth in multiple grade levels taking the assessment!) ✅6% English/Language Arts (this includes growth seen in EVERY grade level taking the assessment!) Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Shannon Deckard, shares, “Big changes start small. We are proud of our students and staff for their dedication to learning.
