Weather Update for 4/28: Please noteโwe are closely monitoring the weather in our area. At this time, there are no changes to dismissal times. If that changes and it becomes necessary to delay dismissal, we will notify all district families as soon as possible.

๐โ๏ธBus L riders who live in the Blue Branch Subdivision will need to meet at the Y by the castle house at their normal drop-off time this afternoon (4/21) due to the low-hanging wire still being present. This meeting place will remain the plan for morning & afternoon until the wire is restored to its normal height.

Weโre happy to report that our internet and network services have been fully restored, and school will resume tomorrow, 4/21. Both elementary schools and JBMS will operate as usual. The high school will adjust classroom locations as needed while crews continue repairing damage from Fridayโs storm.
All athletic practices, games & activities will take place as scheduled today.
We are grateful to be part of a community that lives out Tradition, Pride, and Excellence every dayโespecially in moments like this. We look forward to seeing our students back in class tomorrow! ๐พ๐

CTC is on as usual today (4/20). Bus transportation from WHS to SFCTC will run as normal.
Our goal remains to resume school tomorrow (Tuesday, 4/21) as we work to restore internet and network services today. We will share updates as they become available.
We would like to extend a special thank-you to our food suppliers, SGC Food Service and Hiland Dairy, for providing refrigerated trailers to help preserve food while power is being restored at campuses across our district! ๐๐ผ๐

Update: While there is damage across district facilities, we are very grateful to report that no students or staff were hurt on our campuses.
For everyoneโs safety, we ask that the public please stay off all school property while crews begin cleanup.
District staff may access the South Elementary building if needed.
Our goal is to resume school on Tuesday, and we will keep families updated as we continue assessing conditions.
We also recognize many in our community may be dealing with damage at homeโour thoughts are with those families during this time.
Thank you to our maintenance team, cleanup crews, and electric company for their quick response. We appreciate the communityโs support and will share updates as more information becomes available.
