North Elementary will host their 4th quarter awards on Wednesday, May 17. The 3rd-5th grades are at 9:00. And Kdg-2nd grades at 10:00.
Unfortunately, due to forecasted thunderstorms tomorrow- May 15, there will be changes to Field Day at North Elementary. We will stay at North and have some alternate activities inside. We will not be traveling to the high school.
Remember that Warsaw R-IX School District is in session on Monday, May 15th through Wednesday, May 17th. Last Day of School is Wednesday, May 17th. On May 17th, HS/JBMS will dismiss at 12:50pm and North/South will dismiss at 12:55pm.
North 1st grade students helped current kindergarten students get ready to promote to 1st grade. Students have worked hard all year gathering strategies to help them grow!
North 3rd grade students presented the annual "Living Museum" project this morning. Students researched famous Americans and had to give a speech in costume. It was a great event! More pictures to come.

North Second Grade students worked so hard on addition and subtraction fact fluency this year. They were rewarded with ice cream and homemade pizza! Second Grade demonstrated team work with 2nd grade teachers, students, and Mrs. Smith, too! Thanks to the Title team for helping make this happen!

North 1st grade students enjoyed a day out for their spring field trip. They visited Jetz trampoline park and had a picnic at the park! Lots of great smiles!

Fifth grade students had a visit from Warsaw alum, Kelsie Callahan, RDH. She presented dental health and showed demonstrations for proper brushing. Students were able to see the plaque on their teeth and brush it away!
Several Warsaw youth football players attended the Sharp Performance Football Camp put on by the coaches and players from KU over the weekend. It was a good showing of talent for our young up-and-comers!
North kindergarten students have been introduced to the first grade teachers. This allows them to venture to each 1st grade classroom and hear a story read by the teacher. The kindergarten students have grown and learned so much!
North Elementary worked along with the University of Missouri Extension to bring an embryology program into the classroom. Our students have enjoyed learning about these baby chicks. Third grade is reading to them as well!
