North had 18 students who be came "millionaires" this year. Each of these students read over one million words! They enjoyed lunch out today at El Camino. We would like to thank the staff at El Camino for being so accommodating to our students.

Guest speaker, Blake Monson, spoke to 2nd graders at North about the 50/30/20 rule for spending and saving. He also brought savings banks for students to begin budgeting for wants, needs, spending, and saving money. Mr. Monson is the Senior Vice President at First Bank of the Lake.

North Elementary will host their 4th quarter awards on Wednesday, May 17. The 3rd-5th grades are at 9:00. And Kdg-2nd grades at 10:00.

Unfortunately, due to forecasted thunderstorms tomorrow- May 15, there will be changes to Field Day at North Elementary. We will stay at North and have some alternate activities inside. We will not be traveling to the high school.

Remember that Warsaw R-IX School District is in session on Monday, May 15th through Wednesday, May 17th. Last Day of School is Wednesday, May 17th. On May 17th, HS/JBMS will dismiss at 12:50pm and North/South will dismiss at 12:55pm.

North 1st grade students helped current kindergarten students get ready to promote to 1st grade. Students have worked hard all year gathering strategies to help them grow!

North 3rd grade students presented the annual "Living Museum" project this morning. Students researched famous Americans and had to give a speech in costume. It was a great event! More pictures to come.

North Second Grade students worked so hard on addition and subtraction fact fluency this year. They were rewarded with ice cream and homemade pizza! Second Grade demonstrated team work with 2nd grade teachers, students, and Mrs. Smith, too! Thanks to the Title team for helping make this happen!

CSIP Team reviewing our plan and our data. After reviewing it, we will make recommendations for positive changes.
