High School government students had the opportunity to attend County Government Day yesterday. We appreciate the county officials who helped make this wonderful learning experience possible! Highlights of the day included:
🖋A stop at the County Recorder office. Students learned about their role in recording deeds, marriage licenses, purchases, etc. in the county.
📳A stop at Central Dispatch. Students were given a demonstration of technology being used by the EMS to locate 9-1-1 calls and how cell phones can be used via text to see what is occurring at the emergency sight.
👨⚖️A stop outside the Courthouse. Steve Daleske, County Commissioner, gave an introduction on how the county government operates, his office's functions as commissioner and more.

We were informed by Benton Sheriff Dept. a threat was made towards the parade this morning. They were able to investigate it quickly and have the person in custody. Our homecoming parade will continue today, 9/16, at 1pm. Thank you to our Sheriff Dept and our SROs that did great work to ensure our safety!

It's time for FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL at Randy Morrow Field! 🏈 We are excited to share that we have new & improved seating arrangements. Please pay special attention to signage if you attend tonight's home game.
❌There will be NO students or fans in the far end zone this year.
🎉Pep Club will have a dedicated place in the southeast section of the home stands.
🎺Band will have a dedicated place in the northeast section of the home stands.
💚Fan seating remains in the middle of the home stands.
Mrs. Wyse's high school geometry class went outside today and worked together to form life size angles. While outside, they identified several angles in the construction of the school and labeled what type of angle they were. #WildcatExcellence
