Mrs. Redd’s First Grade classroom turned into a full construction zone yesterday! 🚧🛠️

Students suited up and tackled 10 construction-themed math challenges, earning their very own Certified Construction Certificate. The mix of addition and subtraction problems was no match for these hard-working learners!

👻🎃 There was a Spooktacular Math Boo Bash in Mrs. Redd’s first grade class today!

Students went on a Halloween-themed word problem hunt — and each time they solved one correctly, they earned a haunted house piece. After completing all six problems, they built their own spooky (but mostly cute) haunted houses! 🏠✨

It was a fun and engaging way to get our firsties excited about math! 💚🧮

South Elementary students took their learning on the road Wednesday as third graders visited our state capitol! 🇺🇸 They explored the Whisper Gallery, the Missouri Hall of Fame, Thomas Hart Benton’s mural room, and even sat in the House of Representatives Chamber. Representative Roger Reedy met with the class and treated them to lunch — truly showing us the Show-Me State motto in action! #WildcatTradition #LearningFun #ShowMeState
