Law Enforcement have informed us that the situation with the threat has been completely resolved. Thank you to Benton County Sheriff Dept and Highway Patrol for their hard work to keep us safe!
After discussion with law enforcement and SROs, we have lifted the lockdown at HS/JBMS campus. We will have a SRO for on-campus practices as an extra precaution. Practices will go on as scheduled.
We have Highway Patrol on site. CTC students have lifted for Sedalia. Our staff is taking an early lunch. We are waiting on an all clear on the threat situation.
All staff and students are safe. Benton County Sheriff Department as informed us of a threat on our WHS/JBMS Campus. We have teachers on campus for professional development. Our high school and middle school campus has been put on lockdown. We will update as soon as possible.

2nd graders in Mrs. Hargrave’s class have been studying Missouri Regions. They ended their unit by using tasty treats to represent the different regions in Missouri. Students collaborated to determine what each treat stood for and for what region.
North and South Elementary Schools will celebrate our students' grandparents on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024. Grandparents Day will begin at 1:00 and go until 2:00. We are excited to host our grandparents and have a great afternoon of fun and learning.
Reminder: The South PTO meeting is tonight starting at 6:00 in the South Cafeteria.

Graduation for the class of 2024 has been set for Thursday, May 16th, at 7pm on Football Field.
2024 Summer School will be May 28th - June 21st, 2024. More information to come on Summer School.

Pizza Hut is partnering with South Elementary PTO. This evening, from 5:00 - 8:00, 20% of sales go towards PTO-sponsored activities.
This past week, 3rd graders from South Elementary presented on the famous Missourians they chose. Students did an incredible job, bringing their characters to life!
