2nd graders in Mrs. Hargrave's class spent the first week learning and practicing their classroom/school routines and procedures. They had fun becoming detectives and solving puzzles to determine the difference between "Strong" and "Weak" choices. #WildcatExcellence
Students in Mrs. Alcantara's 3rd grade class practiced events from the Olympics. They also learned about taking chances and trying new things. What a way to make learning fun! #WildcatExcellence

As part of this week's professional development our SRO officers have hosted Emergency Preparedness Training to all faculty and staff. In the unfortunate event an emergency occurs, our entire district will have the tools and resources needed to act quickly & keep students safe.
Reminder: All Warsaw R-IX Buildings will host an Open House tonight (8/15) from 5p-7p.
6th Grade Orientation will be hosted in the JBMS Gym at 5:45p
Freshmen Orientation will be hosted in the HS Gym at 6:15p
We can't wait to see all of our students back in the buildings!

Big congratulations goes out to these well deserving teachers who recently received grant awards from the Warsaw Education Foundation. Since 2007 the Warsaw Education Foundation has given over $28,094 in grants to teachers in the Warsaw R-IX School district. Thank you, Warsaw Education Foundation, for all you do to make our district a better place for students to learn, grow and succeed!

We are excited to welcome students back to school for the 24-25 school year. We will start enrollments on Tuesday, August 6th. Our enrollment dates and times will be posted later this week.

Here are some pictures of our 3rd-grade field trip today. A huge shout out to the Petal Market on Main and the Reser Funeral Home for sponsoring our trip to Creative Palate and Back in Time ice cream. The kids had a blast!
