South Elementary students in Mrs. Alcantara’s class used their knowledge of magnets to race cars. They used magnets to get a car to move 10 feet the fastest (without touching the car with their hands)! The winner was Lilly Domer with a time of a little over a 8 seconds. 🚗💨🧲🧭 #WildcatExcellence

"Sometimes the thing our students need most right now has nothing to do with what's on the lesson plan" -unknown These counselors are the glue that helps keep our students together! They recently had the opportunity to further their education at a school counselors conference. They continue to learn so they can best care for our students. #WildcatExcellence

South Elementary students in Mrs. Henderson's Pre-K class enjoyed some fun Halloween activities last week. They experimented with a "Mad Scientist" science center, sensory beads, monster fingers, a new art easel, and group fall collage. #WildcatExcellence
